PPCHEM® Journal

The PPCHEM® Journal is a peer-reviewed technical journal focused on cycle chemistry, water and steam treatment, and related topics in power plants and industrial facilities. It is internationally recognized for its practical and scientific content.

The PPCHEM® journal covers a wide range of topics, including:

The journal is intended for plant chemists, engineers, technical consultants, equipment manufacturers, and decision-makers involved in power generation and industrial water systems.

The journal was available both in print and online until 2025. Since Issue 1, 2026, the journal has only been available digitally.

Articles published before 2024 are available as PDFs only. You can browse our archive and request specific articles via e-mail. Subscribers receive a 50 % discount on each archive article.

Yes, you need to log in to access full journal articles and digital content. Some content, such as abstracts or selected open-access articles, may be available without logging in. If you have a subscription or tokens, make sure you are logged in to unlock full access. You can register here.

You can purchase a subscription directly through our website. Subscriptions include access to all new issues published during the subscription year and to digital content published since 2024.

Tokens are a flexible way to access individual articles without requiring a full subscription. You can purchase tokens in packages and use them to unlock selected articles from our archive. In addition, tokens can be used to purchase online training courses.
To use tokens, simply select the article or online training course you're interested in and follow the on-screen instructions to redeem your token.

Yes. The editorial team welcomes scientific papers, technical articles, and case studies. Submission guidelines can be found on our submit an article page.

PPCHEM Events

Click on the event you're interested in, then choose the number of tickets in the ticket purchase section. Follow the checkout process to complete your registration. If the event is organized by one of our local partners, no account is needed. In that case, please follow the instructions provided in the registration section of the event.

If you are attending an event fully organized by PPCHEM, an account is required and tickets must be purchased directly through our shop. Yes. After you register, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail.

You'll receive a confirmation email. We do not send tickets by mail – your email serves as your ticket. However, if you created an account, you will have access to your ticket in your user dashboard after login.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Charges depend on how far in advance you cancel:

  • Up to 60 days before: 20% fee
  • Up to 30 days before: 50% fee
  • Less than 30 days: No refund
  •  Non-arrivals are charged 100%.

Your registration will only be confirmed once full payment has been received. If payment hasn't been received before the event, access may be denied unless on-site payment is available.

You usually don't need to bring anything. However, we recommend keeping your confirmation e-mail or the ticket in your account dashboard ready, just in case. Please check the specific event details for any other requirements.

Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, please contact us. You can always check the status of your order in your user dashboard under the event tickets tab. Please note: After payment, it may take up to 5 working days for the status to be updated.

Both you and your friend each need a separate ticket to attend. Ticket transfers (substitutions) are allowed. You just need to inform PPCHEM AG in writing (e.g., by E-mail), and at least 24 hours before the start of the conference.

If PPCHEM AG cancels the event, you'll receive a full refund. In case of postponement or force majeure, liability is limited to the registration fee, minus a 25% admin fee.

Yes, photos and videos may be taken and used in PPCHEM publications and online. By registering, you consent to this use.

PPCHEM Online Training Courses

We offer self-paced video modules.

Browse available courses on our website, select the option that suits you, register or log in, and purchase the training with tokens.

Our online courses are available for an unlimited period. Once enrolled, you can revisit the content anytime at your own pace.

You will need a stable internet connection, a modern browser and audio capability.

Yes, our online courses include written transcripts.

Account

Yes, an account is required. This allows us to connect your purchases with your personal access rights, including tokens and subscriptions. With an account, you can also track orders and manage your online training course or article access.

You can create an account during checkout by ticking the "Create an account" box, or by visiting the my Account page.

After logging in, go to the "Account details" section to update your name, email, or password. Address details can be changed under "Addresses".

Log in and go to the "Orders" tab to view all completed, pending, or cancelled orders.

Yes, please contact us via email to request account deletion. Please note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
